The HTTP service goes down and then comes back up in NSX within a short period of time.

Issue/Introduction

An alarm with the Event Type "Cluster Degraded" has been triggered, and the Description indicates that "Group member <UUID> of service HTTP is down."

The alarm is automatically resolved by system.

Cause

It is caused by glibc library which is one of libraries of Ubuntu and the following logs will be identified in var/log/proxy/proxy-tomcat-wrapper.log on the problematic nsx manager.

Resolution

This issue is addressed in NSX 4.2.0.
