Question:

Why am I getting "TPX0999I VSAM INTEGRITY: UNABLE TO LOCATE VSI" when trying to start up TPX with new VSAM files?

 

Answer:

1. Check the VSAM share options. The VSAM share options should be SHAREOPTIONS(4 3).

2. Verify the RESET Integrity(batchini) has been run against the new VSAM files.
