Issue/Introduction

The following error occurs when testing a Service Catalog ODBC Connection:

Service Catalog UI:

Test failed. [ Cannot create JDBC driver of class    for connect URL  jdbc odbc <ODBC Name>]

Environment

Service Catalog 17.4 RU1

ODBC connection that uses Windows Authentication

SQL Server Authentication is disabled for all users in their SQL Server environment

Cause

Defect with 17.4 RU1

Resolution

The solution will be included in 17.4 RU3.

Workaround:

1. Stop Catalog Services

2. Edit the Service Catalog Service > Log On > Set the username and password that the ODBC connection uses > Save changes > Start Services

3. Edit ODBC Database connection > Check the "Use GMSA" checkbox in the connection > Set username and password in usename and password field of report data source
