Issue/Introduction

Error Message

Login to Ops Manager UI presents error "Provided credentials are invalid. Please try again."

• Error Details: LDAP error code 49 - 80090308: LdapErr: DSID-0C09050F, comment: AcceptSecurityContext error

Cause

The LDAP Password (DN) in Ops Manager under admin > Settings > LDAP Settings > LDAP Password is incorrect. 

Resolution

• Verify and Change Password in Active Directory (AD):

  • Ensure the password in AD matches the one configured in Ops Manager.

• Update LDAP Password in Ops Manager:

  • Use the correct password under Ops Manager under admin > Settings > LDAP Settings > LDAP Password
