Issue/Introduction

the edgebrkr process is not launching and popups are not running. 

Environment

MacOS Ventura 

edge (MacOS) version 129

 

Cause

 

When running the support script for MacOS we see:

 

When review edge://policy we see the keyid for the plugin is incorrect.

 

 

Resolution

Update the mdm profiles to use the correct store key for the OS. For full instructions for each browse see: Symantec Browser Extensions 

Additional Information

NOTE:  There is a key for the windows edge and a different key for MacOS edge extensions.
