Issue/Introduction

• Attempting to upgrade VMware Aria Automation from version 8.12.2 to 8.16.2 in a clustered environment via VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle (LCM) results in failure during Stage-2 with the following error: LCMVRAVACONFIG90030
• The upgrade process stops at the "vRealize Automation upgrade status check" stage, and the environment remains in a failed state

Environment

• VMware Aria Automation 8.x
• VMware Aria Suite Lifecycle 8.x

Cause

• The upgrade failure is attributed to an unsupported package installed on the VMware Aria Automation appliance: net-snmp-5.8-11.ph3.x86_64
• The VAMI (vCenter Server Appliance Management Interface) update fails during RPM installation tests due to missing dependencies for the net-snmp package

Resolution

Remove Unsupported Package:

Uninstall the net-snmp-5.8-11.ph3.x86_64 package and any other manually installed additional RPMs that may cause conflicts

1. Revert the environment to pre upgrade snapshot.
2. Find this package: 

    yum list installed | grep <Packagename>

3. Remove the package:

    yum remove <packagename-from-step2>
