Aria Suite Lifecycle reports LCMVRNICONFIG90095 error during VMware Aria Operations for Networks upgrade.
Aria Suite Lifecycle
VMware Aria Operations for Networks 6.11
VMware Aria Operations for Networks 6.12
VMware Aria Operations for Networks 6.13
VMware Aria Operations for Networks 6.14
This error message occurs for the following reasons.
The LCM checks the status of the upgrade for approximately 2 hours, approximately 25 times every 5 minutes after the upgrade starts. In this case, it is possible that the LCM has made an exception because the upgrade has exceeded this time (approximately 2 1/2 hours). To resolve this situation, we are providing a retry option. If the upgrade is ongoing on the Aria Operations for Networks side, the LCM can retry the request. The retry does not initiate a new upgrade request, but simply restarts the status check operation.
In the end, the message is reset to an exception that occurred when the Aria Operations for Networks upgrade was not completed with the status check completed 25 times every 5 minutes, and the status check is performed 25 times every 5 minutes to check the status of the Aria Operations for Networks. (If the upgrade is complete, proceed to the next step.) Do not perform the upgrade again with a simple status check.

1. A simple status check performs a status check again when performing RETRY, rather than a retry of the upgrade. In this case, if the Aria Operations for Networks upgrade is complete, it will normally proceed to the next step.
2. If the retry does not occur, please perform Inventory Sync.
A retry/inventory sync will be performed to update the information of the Aria Operations for Networks in the LCM, which will enable further upgrades.
