Issue/Introduction

The following warning has been noticed in the NS logs:


IIS port 443 has expired certificate assigned, please verify that the certificate is correct

ITMS 8.6, 8.7

Resolution

The warning is referring to a missing certificate. There was a new certificate created since the original one has expired.

Check under the IIS Manager:

  1. Go to  "Bindings" and select Port 443 binding.
  2. Make sure there is a valid certificate selected.


Note:
You may also get this warning if you have selected to use HTTPS, there is a binding created for port 443 but there is not a certificate selected. Make sure to add one.
