Error message -rvf: FSUM7351 not found when doing an ESD install.

Issue/Introduction

Problem: 

When unpaxing – unpackage  the CA InterTest for CICS r 9.1 installation pax file  DVD11114527E.pax.Z the client receives message

-rvf: FSUM7351 not found 

 Environment: 

Z/OS batch JCL job.

 Cause: 

The UNPAX command did not specify the correct syntax. The following command was being used. 

//UNPAXDIR EXEC PGM=BPXBATCH,                                          

//           PARM='sh cd /produser/vendor/inter91;                   

//             -rvf DVD11114527E.pax.Z'                                  

//STDOUT   DD  SYSOUT=*                                                

//STDERR   DD  SYSOUT=*                                                

//*                                                              

Resolution: 

The installer was not using the correct syntax on the PARM card in the unpax JCL. The correct syntax is listed in the example below. The PAX parameter had to be added. 

//UNPAXDIR EXEC PGM=BPXBATCH,                                          

//           PARM='sh cd /produser/vendor/inter91;  pax                    

//             -rvf DVD11114527E.pax.Z'                                  

//STDOUT   DD  SYSOUT=*                                                

//STDERR   DD  SYSOUT=*
