Issue/Introduction

In the past, Ghost Web Console had very limited capabilities for customizing "permissions" for different accounts/security groups.
For example:
Currently the feature "Display only computers and jobs the user had rights to manage" is only applicable for the full Ghost Console, it doesn't apply to the Ghost Web Console.

Other use case like this one:

...can you create and delete jobs from the Ghost Web Console based on your permissions? I did not see the part in the Web Console that allowed you to do that or to set user permissions."

You want to know if this is now possible (as GSS 3.3 RU12 Release)

Environment

GSS 3.3 RUx

Resolution

Question> "In the past, Ghost Web Console had very limited capabilities for customizing "permissions" for different accounts/security groups. "

Response> Nothing has changed since this statement. It still has very limited capabilities for customizing permissions for different accounts and security groups. It does not have settings for its permissions, but some permissions configured in the Native Console may be taken into account in the Web Console (e.g., permission to run certain tasks located in folders where permissions are set for user or group).

Question> "...can you create and delete jobs from the Ghost Web Console based on your permissions? "

Response> On the Web Console you can create a few select jobs, doesn't have the full job list.

then they show up under here:

Additionally, the Web Console does not have the functionality to delete existing jobs, even for an Administrator with all permissions.
