Issue/Introduction

Clicking the "Test" button in an SQL connection object throws the following message:

U02000112 Remote System is not available via Connection Object 'CONN.SQL.354681

The DB service agent log shows the following messages:

U02000106 Reading content of connection object 'CONN.SQL.35468123'.
U02000107 Connection object 'CONN.SQL.35468123' with time stamp '1721120670000' was successfully transferred to the Agent.
U00045014 Exception 'com.uc4.ex.sql.ConnectionException: "java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver"' at 'com.uc4.ex.sql.ConnectionManager.getConnection():260'.
U00045015 The previous error was caused by 'java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: "com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver"' at 'java.net.URLClassLoader.findClass():476'.
U00003620 Routine 'com.uc4.ex.logging.LogService' forces trace because of error.
U00003450 The TRACE file was opened with the switches '0000000000000000'.
U00003449 Output to the TRACE file is finished.

Configuration.

Resolution

The jdbc folder was not in the bin directory of the database service agent.
