How to allow support access to Velocloud edge

Issue/Introduction

Issue: In scenarios where the edge loses access to the VCO but not the data plane, we can access the edge via console or SSH. This facilitates regaining access to the edge in such situations and troubleshooting the failure.

To do so add the IP  as per below configuration under,

SSH Access

GOTO-configure-->firewall-->support access

 

 

Console access:

GOTO-configure-->firewall-->Console access

 Once allowed we could login to console or SSH

Environment

All VMware Velocloud sdwan 

Resolution

The above changes will help restore edge access during scenarios where communication between the edge and VCO is broken. Console and SSH should be used under the supervision of the Velocloud support team, as making any changes could cause disruption.
