NSX is unable to find or display backups after upgrading SFTP server version

Issue/Introduction

Previously, your SFTP server worked without issue; however, after an upgrade, NSX began having issues with it. Alternatively, you may be using an SFTP server that expects RFC-compliant client requests from your NSX environment, causing the server to close the connection with the following error message: "ssh protocol error: invalid client protocol identification."

Additional Information

Workaround: You may be able to configure your FTP server to accept non-RFC compliant connections.
