Bulk Bootstrap Operation Status Issues in "Recent Tasks" page

Issue/Introduction

These are the known issues for Aria Operations 8.18 for bootstrap operations:

• When performing bulk bootstrap operations, the status consistently displays as "Failed." In the task details section, the message "Adapter provided no status for asynchronous action" is shown.
• The Recent Tasks page intermittently displays the task status as 'Unknown.'
• The Recent Tasks section fails to print the Agent VM name or resource IDs during start/stop Agent actions.
• The Recent Tasks section fails to print the count of successful and failed VMs during the bootstrap action.

Cause

Known issues for Aria Operations 8.18

Resolution

Currently there is no resolution and a permanent fix will be included in future patch release of the product.

To workaround these issues, refer the Agent Status and Last Operation Status columns on the Manage Agents page. These columns provide the updated status of the specific VM operations.
