Issue/Introduction

Problem:

When running the wa_setup.sh, attempting to upgrade to AE 11.3.6, the script runs but it does NOT allow one to enter the EEM server name, which is required. 

Example:

Specify the following information to allow CA Workload Automation AE to upgrade 

CA EEM security policies. 

Instance Name: DEV 

Security Server Name: ....................................................... 

CA EEM Administrator: EiamAdmin.............................................. 

Administrator Password: ***********............................................

  

Environment:

Workload Automation AE 11.3.6 (Linux)

EEM 12.5.1

 

Resolution:

Prior to running the wa_setup.sh script, set the following environment variable which will populate that field:

# AS_EEM_CHECK_INFO=<EEM Server Name> 

# export AS_EEM_CHECK_INFO 

 

Then you may start the installer with:

# ./wa_setup.sh
