Reading contents of a file stored in DB

Issue/Introduction

Is it possible to load contents of a file, which is stored in a DB, directly into variables of a Gel Script, without first writing (saving) that file into a physical location on the server on which the Gel Script shall execute?

Resolution

This would not be possible. The file should be retrieved first. Its contents should then be read using the XOG File Tag Library .
