The VCF Operations Utility is intended for use either at the direction of or guidance from your Broadcom team. The purpose of this article is to provide customers with step-by-step instructions on how to collect their VMware deployment information, information to calculate the capacity and utilization of your VCF entitlements and subscription licenses across your VCF environments.
The current release focuses on collecting deployment information from your VCF environment(s). You may configure the utility tool to connect to one or multiple vCenters or NSX Managers or ESXi hosts to make it easier to collect a comprehensive set of information across your VCF environment.

Download VCF Operations Utility, along with the associated files, including the 'user guide'. Configure the end-points in the target file and run the tool to generate the applicable reports. Reports can be found in the results directory.
The VCF Utility is a command line-based java application that currently supports JSON file outputs and includes an option to send the output directly to Broadcom’s telemetry services, as needed (Internet access required).
