Issue/Introduction

 

  • VMware NSX 3.2.x and 4.1.x are being used.
  • User account for which this behavior being observed is a VIDM integrated user.
  • Ideally upon session expiry user should land on the NSX login page, rather than VIDM login page (i.e., "https://<vidm-fqdn>/SAAS/admin/app/page#!/dashboard").

Cause

This is all due to how NSX automatically redirects to the VIDM login page, if it detects that it is configured for VIDM login.

Resolution

Currently there is no workaround of this issue. Fix for this issue will be present on a future NSX release.
