Issue/Introduction

The vCenter UI may not show the correct number of VMs with vGPU configuration in the graphics devices page for an ESXI host.

Graphics devices for an ESXI host is located at Configure > Hardware > Graphics

Specifically, in the section "VMs associated with the graphics device" the incorrect number of VMs could be observed for the selected graphics device.

Environment

ESXI 8.0 U2

Cause

This is a known issue VMware by Broadcom Engineering have investigated and addressed.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in ESXI 8.0 U3.

Additional Information

If the VM that is not shown is rebooted or migrated it will now show in the "VMs associated with the graphics device" section for the selected graphics device, but the issue can then move on to another VM with vGPU configured.
