Issue/Introduction

When installing DX NetOps Performance Management Report Manager 23.3.8, the following error is seen in the Host Evaluation:

Java 17 version required: 17.0.10+, available: none..................[FAIL]

Version - 23.3.8 and above

Cause

DX NetOps Performance Management Report Manager 23.3.8 requires JRE 17+

Reference the following from the "Verify the Prerequisites for Installing the NetOps Report Manager Service" section of the documentation:

You have installed the following version of Java Runtime Environment (JRE) on the host where the Report Manager Service will be installed based on your version:

• (23.3.8 and higher) JRE 17
• (23.3.6 through 23.3.7) JRE 11

Resolution

The following command can be used to install JRE 17:

yum install java-17-openjdk
