Issue/Introduction
You're able to configure a new replication in Cloud Director Availability (VCDA) but then you can't find it afterwards.
When you try to configure a new replication for the same VM you get an error:
This VM is already protected
Environment
Cloud Director Availability 4.x
Cause
The cause of this issue is that the protection was configured using a system administrator and the organization administrators don't have permissions to see the replication.
Resolution
To make the replications available to organization administrator users follow this steps:
Login in vCloud Director Avaialbility as a system administrator,
Click Incoming Replications or Outgoing Replications,
Select the replications and click
All Actions > Change Owner.
In the Change Replication Owner window, select Tenant organization and click Apply.
Additional Information
You can learn more about replication ownership in the documentation Replicating workloads
