DLP Endpoint Agent is not detecting metadata in the print channel

Issue/Introduction

1. You have activated meta data detection as per the DLP product documentation: Enabling endpoint metadata detection
2. You have confirmed that you're trying to detect on a supported file format: Supported file formats for metadata extraction
3. You see that incidents are created as expected from detection channels but not for the Print/Fax channel

Endpoint Prevent 15.x, 16.x

Cause

Agent Configuration

Resolution

1. Edit the agent configuration and select the Settings tab. 
2. Scroll down to the Printer/Fax section and select 'monitor entire file' radio button
3. Save the changes and Update the configuration
4. Retest once the agent has received the updated configuration
