Issue/Introduction

  • Cloud availability is unable to authenticate with vCloud director using administrator@system credentials.
  • Unable to update VCD endpoint in vCloud director availability using VCD administrator@system credentials.
  • We see log entries similar to:

Environment

VMware vCloud Director Availability 4.7 and above.

Cause

Known Issue

  • vCDA version 4.7.x is not compatible with VCD version 10.6.

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware Cloud Director Availability 4.7.3 when used in conjunction with VCD 10.6.0.1 or above
