Environment

vCenter 8.x

vCenter 7.x

Aria Operations for Logs 8.12.x - 8.16.x

Cause

vCenter does not invalidate open/idle sessions correctly from VMware Aria Operations for Logs

Resolution

vCenter Development is working on correcting the issue from the vCenter side. However, Aria Operations for Logs development have implemented Session Optimizations to reduce the number of open sessions necessary and help alleviate the issue. These optimizations will be released in future releases of Aria Operations for Logs.
