Environment

VCF 4.x to VCF 5.1.x

VCF 5.2

Cause

  • For VCF 4.x to VCF 5.1.x,  this issue can occur when you attempt to deploy a cluster using an ESXi version that is higher than any of the other hosts in the domain. LCM calculates the ESXi compliant versions by finding all the latest ESXi versions for a given Domain/Cluster and returning the latest ESXi version in the domain.
