Increase DXAPM Mainframe extension Metric Limit

Issue/Introduction

The current DXAPM mainframe extension is limited to 50K metrics .We are raising this ticket to request an increase in the limit to 200K metrics .

Alternatively , if there is any configuration changes that can be implemented to accommodate a metric count of 200K from a single mainframe extension , we would require guidance in making those changes.

Resolution

DevOPs reviewed the health of all 3 tenants. The metric clamp was increased to 200K on one tenant.

The other two tenants were not increased. Per Engr:

For the other two tenants, I do not recommend increasing the clamps as the Harvest duration for all the collectors is over 4 seconds with a max of 7 seconds. Increasing the metric clamp to 200k per agent will cause an increase in the Harvest duration and destabilize all the collectors.
