Two vCenter Server appears in Object Browser page.

Issue/Introduction

Aria Operations wrongly named vCloud vCenter object as vCenter Server causing the appliance to show two vCenter Server Objects in Object Browser page.

The vCloud vCenter is an object from vCloud Director Management Pack.
The vCenter Server is an object from vCenter Management Pack.

Recreation Steps:

1. Log in to  Aria Ops UI with valid permission
2. Go to Search bar and search for "vCenter Server Name".

 

It will direct you to Object Browser showing two vCenter Server objects as per screenshot.

Environment

Aria Operations 8.16.x

Resolution

The issue has been fixed on Aria Operations 8.17 or above.
After upgrading, It should appear vCenter Server and vCloud vCenter as per screenshot.
