Issue/Introduction

We have NSX device in our environment which is onboarded to Spectrum. We have the specific MIB's and OID catering to specific condition but we aren't getting these alerts when there is a problem occurrence.  Tried to navigate to the oid in MIB tools and when trying to query the oid, I get the following error message.

Query from vmwNSXTRoutingFeature failed.
Unable to send SNMP request

Environment

Spectrum 22.2 and 23.3

Cause

A mib dump from the device shows that this oid is missing on this device so we cannot display this information in spectrum.  Also running and SNMPget to the specific oid on the device also returns no information..  Spectrum has no other way to get this information.

Missing attribute object information

vmwNsxTRoutingFeaturePrefix OBJECT-IDENTITY
 DESCRIPTION
 "Notifications applicable to the Routing feature have this OID prefix."
  ::= { vmwNsxTDataCenterNotifications 28 }

-- 1.3.6.1.4.1.6876.120.1.0.28

Resolution

This needs to be addressed from the device side by the device vendor.  It is not included in the device mib of this device type.  If it is supposed to be in the mib the vendor should address it as a bug.
