Issue/Introduction

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Navigate to Classic UI -> Project Management -> Time Reporting Periods
  2. Sort by 'Start Date'. Determine the last time period. Click on 'New'. Create a time period starting from the next day after the end of the previous period, to the next Saturday
  3. Click on 'New'. Create a time period that contains just a Sunday within it
  4. Navigate to Modern UX -> Timesheets. Open the time period from the previous step. Populate a number against a row.

Expected Results: The time is saved.

Actual Results: The time does not get saved. It reverts to null.

Environment

Clarity 16.2.2

Resolution

  • The product is designed to not allow entry of time, into a non-working day, if a time period contains only non-working days
  • It however allows entry of time into non-working days, if there is at least one working day in a time period.

This was converted to a User Story, and the functionality is included in Clarity 16.2.3 patch #2 and 16.3.0
