Users with same security role in SMP have different levels of access

Issue/Introduction

Users have the same security role to the SMP Console, etc. but have different levels of access. 

 

Environment

ITMS 8.7.2

Cause

The users are of same security level, but their default console view is different.

Resolution

Give the user rights to see this console menu items - so users can navigate to reports:

These elements are in a special hidden folder, open the SRM (Security Role Manager), then click on "glasses" button in toolbar over the tree to see "hidden elements":

Verify that desired role have access to these items.

Then, you'll see the "Reports" menu and be able to navigate to that tree.
