Cause

Reason: The volume serial number of the tape that is mounted for output is not in the TMC, and the JCL did not specify LABEL=EXPDT=98000 or ACCODE=xCANORES, or the volume serial number is in inactive (delete) status in the TMC.

Resolution

Check the status of the volume using TMSBINQ report OR CA 1 panel and if the FLAG1 shows as below: 

 FLAG1=E6=(INT,CLO,UPD,SCR,DEL) , this means that the volume is in delete status and that the tape can't be used in output.

To change the status of the tape as an active tape, a TMSDELET with below SYSIN should be run:
