Issue/Introduction

SaaS API Keys - Azure data identifier can match on long strings of alphanumeric, underscores, dashes, periods, and tilde characters. 

These may appear as false positives.

Cause

There is an issue with the validators that are not excluding invalid pattern matches from the data identifiers which allows the false positive matches to occur.

 

Resolution

This issue is fixed in DLP 16 RU2 and later. Upgrade the Enforce server, endpoint servers and endpoint agents to version 16 RU2 or later to receive the fix.
