Issue/Introduction

Diagnostics for VMware Cloud Foundation is designed to help you analyze and troubleshoot the most common capabilities of VCF components. This feature detects common issues in your environment and provides them as findings for you to diagnose and fix issues. It provides relevant information in self help flows for vCenter capabilities (e.g vMotion) to help you diagnose problems

Current capabilities covered in Diagnostics for VMware Cloud Foundation include vMotion, Snapshots, and Workload Provisioning.

In Diagnostics for VMware Cloud Foundation version 5.2 found in Operations 8.18 the Property based findings are only Product Patch based findings. To see the list of the Findings which are a part of Diagnostics for VMware Cloud Foundation 5.2 please see attached spreadsheet.

In Diagnostics for VMware Cloud Foundation version 9.0 found in Operations 9.0, we have the full Skyline Advisor dataset. This allows for patch based and configuration based findings. We plan to release frequent Diagnostics management pack updates giving you the latest known issues and security vulnerability data.
