Failed to power on VM with NVIDIA A40/L40 GPUs post host upgrade

Issue/Introduction
- After updating the BIOS on PowerEdge R7525 to version 2.14.1, virtual machine power on failure may occur when using NVIDIA A40/L40 GPUs with VMware.
- The same virtual machine can be powered on with the old version of BIOS.
- Example error messages as below:
Environment
This issue was only reported on R7525 with Milan (7003 Series) CPU. However, it may also impact the other 15G AMD platforms.
Cause
Certain AMD reference code added to the 2.14.1 BIOS causes this issue.
Resolution
A BIOS release is planned for June 2024 to resolve the issue.
Workaround
Reinstall the old version of BIOS.Additional Information
