Issue/Introduction

In MUX, the Help and the Question Mark icon Menu, will open differently based on whether or not the user is an admin user.

The admin user must have the below permissions to be considered "admin" for the Help menu:

  • Administration - Application Setup
  • Administration – Access

What is the expected behavior for each user type regarding the Help Menu?

Environment

Clarity 16.2.2 +

Resolution

Admin User:

  • When Admin user clicks on Question Mark button (?) they will see the Information Center.
  • To see ICE they will have to click on Help in either Information Center or Avatar - Help

 

Non Admin User:

  • When a non admin user clicks on Question Mark button (?) , they see ICE directly:
  • If they click on Avatar - Help, it loads the Broadcom technical documentation.
