Issue/Introduction

Pausing a replication fails with error: "The operation could not be completed, because the source virtual machine has been deleted".

Reconfiguration of replication fails (Pause, Sync, Compress Replication Traffic).

The VM replication state in the warning state in vCloud Director Availability portal.

Environment

VMware vCloud Director Availability 4.x.

Cause

This issue occurs when the VM doesn't exist at the source site anymore.

Resolution

We cannot create a replication for a VM that does not exist at the source site.

Before configuring any replications, ensure that the VM exist at the source vSphere site, if it is there delete the current replications and recreate them.
