While deploying new vApp from template CPU and Memory values get reset to default value 1

Issue/Introduction

• While deploying a vApp from template which was created selecting the option "Customize VM setting" CPU and Memory get reset to default 1. The user then has to modify it while deploying.
• The memory should be set based on the sizing policy and the template. If there are no defined values in the sizing policy then CPU and memory should populate from the template.

 

Environment

VMware Cloud Director 10.5.x

Cause

This is a known issue affecting VMware Cloud Director 10.5.x

Resolution

This issue is resolved in VMware Cloud Director 10.6. It is available at Broadcom Downloads.
