Issue/Introduction

Creating a portal published APIs  (using the out of box template Standard Policy Template - API Key) we see Portal Service Preface getting added to every policy.

What is the purpose of this Preface?

Can it be removed?

Environment

Portal 5.2.3

Resolution

The Portal Service Preface is added to ALL portal published API, there is no way to remove it 

It’s purposes

  • CORS functionality
  • It's required to enable/disable APIs
  • Allows consumption via the spec tab if a swagger file is used
