Issue/Introduction

The sync between primary & secondary MLS stopped working with the following shown in RCPD.OUT log:

WARNING: Can't read attribute descriptor for attribute 2400 in model 11a0f6e Model attribute not loaded."

Many instances for different attributes.

This indicates Model_Handle 11a0f6e is corrupted. Copying the SSdb backup from Primary and trying to load it on the secondary results in failure and SpectroSERVER status of TERMINATED

Environment

DX NetOps Spectrum all currently supported releases

Cause

This model is corrupted (in this example, the one with Model_Handle 11a0f6e)

Resolution

On Primary MLS, destroyed model with MH=11a0f6e (a Juniper MX960 interface, so destroyed the device model). Then saved the SSdb on the primary and copied it to secondary.

On secondary, loaded it:

cd $SEPCROOT/SS
../SS-Tools/SSdbload -il -r 20 db_<DATE>_<TIME>.SSdb

After this, secondary was able to start normally.
