Issue/Introduction

In multisession Windows 10, 11, Citrix, VDI or Terminal services environment, Microsoft applications including  snippingtool, photos, Phone Link, MS teams apps and potentially others may fail with "The parameter is incorrect" error when trying to launch the application.

In case SEP client will be stopped and the user will sign out then sign in into the session, the issue stops to happen.

Environment

Cloud managed SEP client 14.3 RU8

FSLogix installed 2.9.8612.60056 or older

 

Resolution

The issue is contributed by FSLogix software, and system administrator should upgrade FSLogix in case of encountering similar issue.
