Purpose: This article provides information about the Gigamon Solution for GigaVUE Cloud Suite for VMware. The solution version is 6.7.00 and it supports network monitoring capabilities for workloads deployed on NSX versions 4.0.1.1 and 4.1.0.

GigaVUE Cloud Suite for VMware, version 6.7.00

Supported software:

GigaVUE Cloud Suite acquires traffic from dynamic virtual environments, optimizes it and then delivers only relevant traffic to monitoring and security tools. The results include:

• Deep visibility into VMs and containers to recognize and block laterally spreading malware.
• Automated identification of new workloads while scaling and configuring the fabric as needed.
• Improved tool capacity by offloading compute-intensive tasks and streamlining traffic to tools.
• Unified multi-cloud orchestration and management with a single-pane-of-glass fabric manager.

The Validated NSX versions for the certification covers the 4.0.1.1 and 4.1.0, The Gigamon GigaVUE FM is used to orchestrate the deployment and management of the solution and it interacts with the NSX via the API.
