ESF1825 EZSP failed with RC=24

Issue/Introduction

Testing PTF LU09425 and one of the menu options, EZSP - Online Display ESFEZSP Performance Report, is returning the following:

ESF1825 EZSP  failed with RC=24

In the JESMSGLG log the following message appears:

EZTPA00 not loaded

Environment

Spool 

Cause

Two possible causes:

1. The module EZTPA00 is not accessible through the LNKLST or STEPLIB of the Spool started task
2. The library where the EZTPA00 module resides is not APF authorized

 

Resolution

The licensed Easytrieve Report Generator product is not required to be installed. However the Easytrieve program that is packaged with Common Components and Services must be installed. The load library where the EZTPA00 module is must be in the LNKLST or STEPLIB of the Spool and APF authorized.
