Issue/Introduction

Please advise if Broadcom can connect to a data source and perform automated discovery, classification, and masking without manual intervention?

Environment

TDM 4.10.x, 4.11.x

Resolution

For the requirement of connecting to a data source and automating discovery, classification and masking with manual intervention, it is not possible from TDM side. 

All these activities can be performed with help of the REST APIs exposed by TDM and can be automated using Javelin tool through a batch file but there have to be certain one time steps that should be performed in terms of registering the data source with TDM, setting up the classification and masking rules. Once done, the API calls for discovery, classification and masking can be automated for the same data source.
