Issue/Introduction

ESXi bundles are not listed for download in the Bundle Management UI

Environment

VMware Cloud Foundation 5.2

Cause

An issue in the bundle filtering logic. 

Resolution

Customers can download the bundle through the API Explorer using the following API and payload:

  • Go to the Developer Center.
  • Open the API Explorer.
  • Filter for "v1/bundles".
  • Click "PATCH" and provide the bundle ID and bundle update specification(bundleUpdateSpec).




  • Once the bundle downloaded it will be visible in Download History Page.

Issue is resolved in VCF 5.2.1
