Slow response in Operator Console in DX UIM 20.4.*

Issue/Introduction

Since upgrading to DX UIM 20.4CU9/CU10 we are seeing slow OC response times / performance. 
 
For example, opening the normal Alarm List view may take more than 30 seconds. 

If I select a specific alarm I can quickly get information about it, but if I go to the "History" tab it again spends a long time "Loading..."

Also group listing seem to be affected and getting delayed in certain scenarios.

We have ruled out issues with the DB or with any corrupt component inside the solution. 

What can I do to improve the OC performance?

Resolution

We suggest customers who are experiencing slow response of OC after having ruled out issues with the Database to upgrade to our latest DX UIM 23.4CU2

 

DX UIM 23.4CU2 contains different fixes related to OC performance: 

 

23.4 - Home Page, Inventory Page performance improvements

23.4(CU1) ---> Metrics Page performance improvements

23.4(CU2) ---> Groups and Alarms Page performance improvements

 

Note: DX UIM 23.4CU2 will be released sometime in Aug 2024.
