Issue/Introduction

Our Rally Admin team will not be able to create tags in the rally. We have gone through the document but not able to find + button. Kindly help us with this.

Create Tags
When users wish to create a tag in Rally, it must be added exclusively on the artifact page at the field level. Unlike other fields in Rally, tag values cannot be added at the field settings level. This is a known limitation within Rally

         

Remove Tags

There are two ways to remove the tags.

1. Archive

• We strongly advise our users to utilize the ARCHIVED functionality to disable any unused tags within the system. When a tag is marked as archived, the existing artifacts associated with that tag remain unaffected. However, this feature prevents users from using the archived tag in the system going forward.

             

2.Permanently Delete

• To Delete tags from the system permanently, please select the gear icon and then choose “Permanently Delete”. This action will also remove all associations with existing artifacts.
