Issue/Introduction

How is Capping % value calculated in Dynamic Capacity Intelligence (DCI) WebUI report CPC R4HA?

Environment

DCI 2.0

Resolution

The Capped % line says how long an LPAR was capped in a specific interval, in percentage. For example: LPAR A had a Capped % value of 50% for the 5 minutes interval from 00:00 to 00:05. That means it was capped for 2.5 minutes within that interval.

The Capped % line in the CPC R4HA report represents that value for all LPARs within the CPC. The line is an aggregation of all Capped % values of all LPARs which have a ACTMSU consumption greater than 0, divided by the number of LPARs, per interval.
