Log file monitoring with the Japanese Language string

Issue/Introduction

We have a request to monitor log file with the Japanese Language string. Even after changing the "File Encoding" field in logmon probe to "ISO-2022-JP/EUC-JP" Not able to copy the Japanese language string to the Match Expression field in logmon probe.

 

Is it possible to monitor the string with the Japanese language..?? Kindly help on this on..

Resolution

In IM GUI, textbox accepts only unicode ASCII characters, so we cannot give Japanese characters as an input.
