The vSphere Client Cluster Image tab shows an error message "Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'event')"

Issue/Introduction

• When viewing the Updates > Image tab for a cluster in vSphere Client, an error message is shown on top of the page, stating:

Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'event')

Environment

vCenter Server 8.0 Update 2c

Cause

This issue occurs when the browser cache on the user side contains expired information

Resolution

To resolve this issue, please purge the cache of the web browser on the end user device, then reload vSphere Client.
