How is an XCOM DEST member (Destination member) used/found at transfer time

Resolution

If there is an enabled DEST member with LU (or IPNAME) value matching the corresponding parameter value used in the transfer then that DEST member will be used for the transfer.
The reason DEST members work this way (i.e. resolving based on the selected partner identification) is to allow sites to impose default settings for particular partners without having to change a global setting, or all of the JCL that performs transfers to a particular XCOM partner. It is intended to be a convenient way to apply parameters and make changes to all transfers to a specific destination.
DEST members can be explicitly invoked by using a "GROUP=" specification. Otherwise, XCOM finds and uses a DEST member that matches the LU/IPNAME partner, if one is enabled.
